Personal Introduction
# OBJECTIVE
- My goal is to gain summer employment in the education field. Specifically, I would like to gain more experience in ESL as I plan to teach overseas in the future. I am currently the grade 2 teacher at St. Patrick Elementary School for the Hamilton Catholic School Board. I have taught grade 2 for the past 5 years. St. Patrick has a high number of ESL students (average of 7 ESL students per class) so I am familiar with teaching ESL in an educational setting. In addition, I have worked at 3 different summer camps for a total of 8 summers in various positions. I have also been employed in residential care for special needs adults on a part time basis for over 10 years. As a result, I feel I have the skills and experience necessary to be a successful ESL teacher.
