- I recently completed a challenging 1-year contract at Kids College in Korea. The school was dedicated to producing fluent English speakers through its full-time kindergarten and elementary programs. Upon graduation, students could read and write in English on par with native speakers their own age, and they could speak with a high degree of fluency. Day school programs focused on Language Arts, Conversation, Listening, Hands-on Activity, Science and Character Education. Afternoon programs at KC Academy catered to elementary students needing added instruction to supplement public school.

- Over the past 2 years I have volunteered frequently to help a friend who works as a tour guide and bus driver leading international student tours in British Columbia, Alberta, and Washington State. I have helped to lead tours of between 15 and 52 students from various lower mainland language schools on 1- and 2-day tours to Whistler, Victoria, Tofino and Seattle. I enjoyed getting to know students from Korea, Japan, Brazil, Mexico, Switzerland, Saudi Arabia, and many other countries.
