I had two part time jobs at Gateshead Council; one job in Regeneration and one job in Planning Policy.
I project managed a variety of projects and studies and lead on housing policy in the Council. Both positions relied on my excellent communication and negotiation skills.

I maintained and updated a housing database systems for the Council, strengthening my
communication and technical skills.

Personal Introduction # Personal summary
I am 26 years old from the United Kingdom with a background in Urban Planning. I am a native English speaker and also speak fluent American English. I have a Bachelors degree and Postgraduate Diploma in Town Planning from Newcastle
University. I have spent the last five years working as an urban planner in the North East of England and Scotland. I enjoy working with children and through my role as an urban planner I often visit local schools to teach the children about sustainability. I have also previously worked as a babysitter. I have a passion for travelling, spending time outdoors and enjoy socialising.

# Relevant skills and experience
• English language skills – I am a native English speaker and have excellent spelling and grammar. I got an A grade in English Literature and Language at GCSE level. I am an enthusiastic reader in my own spare time. I am also fluent in American English.
• Intelligent – I have achieved consistently high marks in all my academic studies, including achievement awards throughout my high school studies.
• Good with children – I worked as a babysitter throughout my teenage years which has given me experience of caring for and taking responsibility for young children.
