Personal Introduction
# PROFILE
- I have good interpersonal skills and am used to dealing with the public face-to-face and also over the telephone. I am proficient in the use of IT, the internet and Microsoft Office applications as well as having excellent touch-typing skills.
On top of this I am a keen basketball player, holding a silver basketball coaching qualification. I keep fit by going to the gym regularly, running and swimming. I have been DJing
and producing music for a number of years too.
# VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE
- In 2005 I volunteered with Project Trust as a teacher of English in Xinjiang, a remote province in the north-west
of China. During my time there, I acquired many new
skills, gained a great deal of confidence and independence and traveled throughout the country during my holidays.
My work experience in China taught me the importance of punctuality, good organisation and how to work on my own initiative but also as part of a team. My communication skills improved and I had the chance to learn Mandarin Chinese, which I now have a good grasp of.
