- In this position, I’m currently responsible for teaching several classes students English in an English environment, at the same time preparing them for living in an English speaking country in the future. I teach them conversation, grammar, reading, writing, listening comprehension etc, and also take students on field trips having students communicate and do daily tasks in English. The school I work for is the first Korean branch of Singapore International School, which is mostly based out of Jakarta, Indonesia. Having been here from the conception of the Korean branch, I’ve been involved in curriculum, planning, setting the curriculum and several other aspects relating to establishing a new school.

- My duties here involved teaching young English learners in the mornings and afternoons (aged 2-6 years old). The school was an American English immersion Environment with a focus on students' excellence in speaking and reading. I was required to conduct classes and produce compreshensive lesson plans and teach classes and other English related events. The position taught me a lot about early education and first and second language acquisition.

- A small academy position in which I was the sole native instructor. My duties involved teaching reading, speaking, grammar, listening comprehension, etc. students varying from the ages of 6-15 years old.

: Jeju Island English village (Summer Camp), South Korea.
- A six-week position working on the beautiful Island of Jeju. Duties involved teaching campers and additionally organising classes, facilitating and participating in camp activities.
* ENGLISH TEACHER (2006-2007)

- A renowned private English School with a similar schedule and structure of a typical elementary school. Classes were four hours in duration and encompassed reading, spelling, art, acting, and music. The author of the curriculum privately tutored teachers on a regular and spontaneous basis. Training and acheiving her objectives were key to success as such I gained extensive knowledge into teaching.

- As one of a team of several foreign teachers, I taught reading, grammar, spelling, phonics, art, and sports. The scope of the curriculum gave opportunities for me to participate in translating, designing the curriculum, adult GEPT classes and holiday programmes. All the teachers learned skills from each other and strove for excellence.

- During mornings I worked for this prestigious high school. I taught "free talking" conversation classes of up to 30 students, with an emphasis on getting students to speak out confidently. I designed the class topics and activities.

- I was the only English Teacher here, in this country English School. The curriculum involved using video and computer modules to help teach. I was required to teach students of varying levels, aging 5-17 years old. I also developed tests and homework to monitor the students’ progress.
* SNOWBOARD INSTRUCTOR (2002-2003)

- Teaching snowboarding to a wide range of age groups. Captivating the attention of groups comprising up to eleven students, adapting lessons to suit their learning styles and specific needs. Additional duties involved supervising and entertaining children outside of lessons, and provided progress reports to parents. Also guided tours around ski resort and vicinity.
* ENGLISH TEACHER (2002)
: Shanewol Hargwon, Youngwol, South Korea
- Teaching academic English through an American English curriculum to students 5-18 years old. The curriculum for older classes involved preparing students for their English (TOEIC) exams. All classes involved organising bookwork and educational material according to the age and level of the students. Educational activities included phonics cards, spelling games and many other tools.
* ENGLISH TEACHER (2002)
: Camp Korea, Chunchon, South Korea
- I taught one class of 8-13 year olds for the first half of the camp and then a class of 13-17 year olds for the second half of the camp. Flexible curriculum provided opportunities for innovative teaching techniques, while establishing rapport, holding the attention of students and maintaining their respect. Book work, computer activities, role playing, songs and games were all utilised to teach the classes. Conducted meetings with parents at the end of each student’s course, including evaluating and reporting on their progress. The position entailed being both teacher and supportive friend to all the students while they were away from family and familiar surroundings.
