- Teaching English based language courses in writing, grammar, spelling, vocabulary, science, and reading to students ranging in ages from six years old to 12 years old. The curriculum in the school is based on the North American model to engage the student of English in a variety of English based situations. There are 9, 40 minute classes per day. Average class size at the school is 10-12 students. The classes are also divided into students returning from abroad and those that are gifted and talented. Duties include preparing daily lesson plans, reviewing homework assignments, administering monthly test that are prepared by the teachers, interacting verbally, correcting mistakes, assessing English language learners, and engaging students to use their English language skills. As someone who speaks two languages fluently I have an understanding in the difficulty of how language is acquired.
