Personal Introduction
# Other Interests and Skills
I have experience in Political activities where I have campaigned for the Trade Justice movement and last year lobbied Parliament to speak to my MP about that cause. I have also collected signatures and spoken at a number of charity events, raising awareness of issues and encouraging young people to become involved. These experiences have given me the opportunity to volunteer around the world. Most recently I have spent two months volunteering in Haiti with Shelters International, a disaster relief organisation.
I also enjoy travelling independently. I have had the opportunity to travel widely through the Middle East and East Asia and have developed a keen interest in both regions history and culture.
I also enjoy reading and playing the guitar and have recently begun to teach guitar to beginners.
