Working History
* CAMP COUNSELOR AT SHAKESPEARE CAMP (Summers of 2008, 2009, 2010)
Supervisor: Rebecca Ennals (415-558-0888):
I taught a group of children aged 7-13 the history and meaning of Shakespeare's writings. I directed them in a production of a condensed play by Shakespeare at the end of every 2-week session. I organized them to create their own costumes, sets, themes, and their character's personality traits. I was responsible for 12 children at a time and in total have directed 5 plays.
* RADIO SHOW HOST (March-July of 2010)
Supervisor: Sebastián Feliú corporacion@elencuentro.cl
I had an internship at a radio station in Chile where I ran my own program and helped produce others' programs. I learned how to work in an environment that forced me to maintain my deadlines and keep the station running smoothly. Aside from working in the studio and on computers, I was also required to be in complete control of my program. This included all of the recording, ideas, and editing.
Personal Introduction
# Additional Experience:
In addition to Chile I have travelled to several countries in Europe and South America. I also have travelled to Japan as part of a Rotary Club exchange program.
I have also acted in multiple plays in high school and UC Santa Cruz. In addition I write and perform music with my band. Both of these have helped me to become comfortable in front of an audience. I am a socially confident individual and enjoy meeting new people.
I speak Spanish well and have taken 6 years of Spanish classes as well as being abroad in Chile for 6 months, so I’m very familiar with the process of learning new languages.
