# Teaching Experience
* Potomac Ridge School of Behavioral Health
In conjunction with my studies at The George Washington University I began teaching at the Ridge School of Montgomery County, a residential and outpatient treatment program for special needs students. These students have learning and emotional/behavioral disabilities. I was given the opportunity to develop my teaching skills while applying different schools of thoughts and theories provided by The George Washington University. In doing so, I have obtained a variety of useful skills necessary to provide educational services to different populations of students. Additional experiences pertaining to special education include: writing and participating in the IEP process, and creating lesson plans according to Montgomery county curriculum. I currently teach English 10, Art, and Film Study. I have experience teaching U.S. History, English 9-12, and middle school.
