- Worked as a support worker for a child with behavioral special needs, age 5, during preschool class. This involved developing a 'care plan' for the child, using different support strategies, one- on-one instruction, and social and emotional guidance. This position also required a great deal of communication between myself and parents as well as funders from the Native Friendship Center in Victoria, BC. Daily records of behaviour, challenges, strengths and goals for the future were also part of my role as a support worker.
