* English Teacher – 1) Jeju ESL English Language Academy, December 2010 - 2011, where I taught written and spoken English to elementary, middle school and high school students. 2) LCI Academy, Dongtan, South Korea. November 2009 – 2010, where I taught written and spoken English, math and science to pre-kindergarten, kindergarten and elementary students.
* Organic Farming Intern – Four Season’s Farm. September 2009 – October 2009. Worked as an intern, labourer and farmer, harvesting organic vegetables and lettuce, as well as took care of a coop of chickens.
* Copy-Editor – Snap Halifax. July 2009 – September 2009. Copy-editor of the monthly newspaper.
* Camp Director – YMCA of Greater Halifax Special Needs Camp. June 2009 – August 2009. Supervisor of the Halifax intermediate day camp for children with behavioural disorders. Planned and scheduled the entire camp and directed four staff members. Children ages 6 to 14 attended the camp.
* Intern – Nimbus/Vagrant Publishing. November - December 2008. Copy-editing, proof-reading, writing back cover copies, book-keeping and clearing out files.
* Theatre Employee - Rebecca Cohn Theatre/Dalhousie Arts Center. September 2005 – June 2009. Responsibilities: Assistant Manager, ushering, bartending, selling merchandise, candy cart, and coat check.
* Camp Counselor - Medolark Camp. June 2006-August 2006. Worked with youth ages 9 to 15. Responsibilities: teaching mountain biking, ropes course/rock climbing, kayaking and dance and working as a general camp counselor.

# Personal Information
- I graduated from Dalhousie University with an honours degree in English, minor in Environmental Studies. I then graduated from the University of King’s College with a Bachelor of Journalism in May 2008. At the end of January 2011 I will be going to Sri Lanka to obtain my level 1 yoga teacher training, as I hope to become a yoga teacher.

I enjoy yoga, surfing, hiking, travelling, reading, writing, drawing and photography.
