Working History
* 2006-March 2010 –Taught in various public junior high and elementary schools for the Jeollabuk-do Board of Education, and then the Samcheok BOE in Gangwon do. Most extensively at Samil Boys Middle School, and Samcheok Girl’s Middle School. References for this period are included below.
* 1996-2003 In Yokohama, Japan. I spent 2 years teaching adults in an English conversation school.
- For one year I taught Business English at a variety of companies including Goodyear and Honda.
- I was in a pilot program to teach English in Elementary schools in Atsugi city, the first foreigner to do so in the Kanto area. The program was a success and continues today.
- For 3 years I worked in junior high schools, as a replacement JET Assistant Language Teacher.
