• I was part of a team that was implementing the transitioning of 700 employees from the Dublin Global Business Centre to another Business Unit.
• My responsibilities included changing departments and payroll details, working with external suppliers to make sure contractor details are correct and validated and updated employee records.
• Business Control duties included Asset Verification, Testing of Invoices and Data Management Validation duties.

I.B.M. Treasury Operations
• In this role I was responsible for providing accurate and complete bank reconciliations with no aged items over 30 days for 27 bank accounts across EMEA.
• Logged all overdrafts and informed management of cause. Generated applicable documentation for a claim and or back valuation to resolve overdraft and follow up item to resolution.
• Interacted with ABN, BNP, Citibank and RBS banks and internal I.B.M. counterparts in Europe and Treasury HQ USA.
• Processed on average 170,000 payments per month for average value 1.6 billion EUR as a team of 3 on behalf of 18 European Countries with 150 legal entities.

I.B.M. Sales and Distribution Operations
• I provided a complete range of Business Management support to business leaders. This analysis used targets, actuals and assessment indicators to support the Software Senior Management Team in the decision making process.
• I was the local Country contact for the Accounts Receivable Team in Madrid. Duties included helping resolve disputes where there were aged invoices outstanding for payment.
• Prepare financial and management reports for the Ireland CFO on a monthly basis. These reports contained a profit analysis and sales forecasts for the Software Business Unit.
• Responsible for highlighting Operational Issues on Quarter End daily assessment calls to Senior Management of IBM Ireland

• Produced Academic Year Curriculum and researched new materials for classes of all levels.

Trainee Accountant Whirlpool Ltd. Dublin, Ireland
Whirlpool Shared Services Centre has 18 branches throughout Europe, and annually processes $2 billion of payments from its Dublin office. I joined on a 3 Year Trainee Graduate Programme and rotated through all of the different finance functions. My main duties included:
• Month End Reporting for Whirlpool Finland
• Processing of Finlands VAT and Intra-Statutory Returns.
• Monthly Balance Sheet Reviews and risk assessment.

# AWARDS AND ACHIEVMENTS
• Delivered a Feasibility Study of setting up Ulster Bank ATM in Athlone as part of a thesis and in 2002 this was successfully implemented to which I gained great satisfaction from.
• Receiving a Whirlpool Treasury Team Award in July 2003 and also a Whirlpool Nordics Operational Efficiency Award Mar 2004
• Nominated to represent Whirlpool Contract Employees as part of the Employee Consultation Group during Whirlpools re-structuring in 2002.
• I organised the first ever Vietnamese Saint Patricks Day Parade in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam
• In July 2005 I reported for the Vietnam News on the result of the 2010 Olympics in Singapore.
# HOBBIES AND INTERESTS
• I am a Referee in Gaelic Football and Hurling and I also have a Football Coaching Certificate.
• I play Traditional Irish music. i.e. the Uileann Pipes and Tin Whistle.
• I am a qualified swimming lifeguard which includes First Aid.
• I have appeared a number of times on Ireland AM as a part-time presenter for products / services presentation and appeared on Season 1 of Deal or No Deal on TV3 in 2010 as part of the Green Box Club.
