Personal Introduction
I would like to start off by saying that I have a great love for children in which I have persistently been volunteering in local churches and community programs all over Vancouver ever since I was in middle school. I have worked with many Korean students of all ages over the past few years as an English teacher in Ulsan and now Incheon. I have also participated in many district English camps (Summer and Winter) along with volunteering in community events here in Korea. I only seek to better my students so that they would one day become leaders in whatever they desire to pursue. I am a Native English speaking teacher raised in Canada and I also have a very high command of the English language. As a graduate of Simon Fraser University, Bachelors of Art, I can also assure you that I am fully qualified to work as an English teacher in Korea. As for my teaching techniques, I prefer to be very vocal and active with my students so that they would feel that they're more involved within the class when I am directly speaking to them. I use a lot of gestures and expressions (and a little bit of humor) to keep my class entertaining while also educational. I also tend to employ a number of interactive mediums to help teach my classes.
