Personal Introduction
My name is Ryan Maurer and I am providing this letter in hopes of finding a new teaching position in Seoul. I am currently working in Dobong-gu, Seoul and will complete my current contract November 30th 2012.
I attended the University of Wisconsin, and graduated in the fall of 2010. I majored in Social work and worked within the Wisconsin child welfare system for almost five years. For the past year I have been working at an academy teaching conversational English to students ages 7-17. I am TEFL certified and will have one year teaching experience after finishing my contract 10/30/12.
In the past year I have gained invaluable ESL teaching experience in Korea and have grown a lot as a teacher. I am now more confident in teaching and am more knowledge in presenting and discussing the English language. I would describe myself as an open, reliable, hardworking and patience person.
