- As one of 3 native English speakers in the after school program, if was my duty to work with my Korean co-teacher to make tests, materials, and lesson plans, and facilitate learning in 8 classes of beginner through intermediate students.

- Heesung Elementary School: Anyang, South Korea. September 1st, 2008 – August 31st, 2009.
- As the one native speaker of English at this school, I was responsible for teaching over 750 students every week. The school was very dedicated to the English program, and encouraged me to make my own electronic materials to aid my presentations, using Microsoft Powerpoint; I am now fairly adept at using this software.

- 4 Corners Magazine: Toronto, Canada. June 1st, 2007 – August 26th, 2007.
- As a writer and web editor for the small green-oriented magazine, it was my job to write feature articles on eco-friendly lifestyle habits, discussion pieces on major North American trends, and to keep a Web Log on trends I have observed. Because of the web-editor section of my job description, I continued to refine my working knowledge of web-publishing software.

- The Molokai Dispatch: Kaunakakai, Hawaii. January 1st, 2007 – May 16th, 2007.
- As the content editor of all news and politics articles published in the weekly newspaper, it was my duty and pleasure to determine article length, create newspaper and web layout using Adobe InDesign, edit contributors’ articles.
