Working History
* MBT English Academy, Ulsan, South Korea. July 2008 – July 2009
- During my time with MBT I taught children of kindergarten to high school age, with class sizes ranging from 25 to one on ones. I also created teaching plans, tests and delivered reports on children to senior staff and parents.
* Government community Centre, Ulsan, South Korea. September 2008 – March 2009
- For a short period I taught adults at a government community centre on a part-time basis. This was the first time the centre had an English class and gave me the chance to create my own teaching plan. I enjoyed this course and made some excellent friends in the process. However, the number of students increased and more time was needed. I arranged for another teacher, who lived much closer to the centre, to continue the project.
* Peckover Primary School, Wisbech, Lincolnhire, England. December 2009 – present.
- I have continued to improve my teaching skills by volunteering at a local primary school. During my time here I have held small reading groups and observed and assisted in teaching all subjects to the children.
