* Job Description
Korea University of Technology and Education(KUT) is currently developing an English program which we consider a supporting system for KUT regular English courses. Now we are looking for two competent English native speakers. Here's a basic job description. Their overall duties will be to oversee and run the new KUT English program. They need create an English speaking environment as well as teach English for the KUT English supporting program. Students can try to make an appointments with you to learn English individually or by group. Professors for regular English courses will be able to send some students to the supporting program in the case that students do not have enough abilities for the requirement of the English course. In any case, you are required to be able to manage all students in order to teach English to them effectively and efficiently.
There are another duties for you. One of things is English intensive programs during vacation. You must set up and implement summer and winter English programs of KUT with the other foreign Professors at KUT. Although there are more secondary duties, it will be mentioned in the contract.
2) Teaching hours
* 15:00 - 23:00 (Working hours can be adjusted during the vacation period)
3) Salary
* 2,750,000(Inclusive of Tax) per month / 33,000,000 per year)
4) lecture Salary
* Additional Payments for each lecture will be paid to the professors with
the amount of 15,000 won per a 50 minutes based class.
* Qualifications and Recruitment Terms
1) Full-time English Professors - 2 People
2) Candidates should be native speakers of English with a Bachelor or higher
degree from an accredited four-year university.
3) Must hold a foreign passport.
4) Previous teaching experience(including TESOL) at the university level
desirable but not required
5) The current employer and KUT have to accept the complete transfer of the
applicant between the two.

* Welfare
1. Housing Rents : An apartment will be given, or if the applicant does not
want to live in the apartment provided, he or she would
get 300,000 won instead of the apartment.
2. Research Office(1 Office for 2 lecturer)
¤· Will be equipped with Phone, Computer(internet available), desk, chair,
report box(if monthly phone fees is over 10,000 won, that amount must
be paid by lecturers)
3. Air-ticket for one-way will be paid if you are hired.
