Full-time Position: Global English Outreach Committee

• Description: The Global English Outreach (GEO) Department of the Catholic University of Korea is seeking qualified, experienced and energetic English teacher who is eager to join our program. The Catholic University of Korea is located in Bucheon, Korea (40 minutes away from downtown Seoul by Subway).
• Position: Full-time Teaching Professor for Global English Outreach Committee
• Qualifications
(1) A native speaker of English or a bilingual English/Korean speaker
(2) B. A. degree required (M.A. degree preferred in TESOL or related field)
(3) At least 2 years of experience teaching ESL/EFL at the university level
• Duties Working Conditions
(1) Teaching Hours: 15 hours per week (Conversation and content-based English courses – mainly early morning and evening classes). You will also teach during summer and winter sessions.
(2) Student guidance (flexible schedule)
• Terms of Contract, Compensation, and Benefits
(1) One year contract starts on September 1, 2009 (renewable)
(2) Starting salary: approximately 38,000,000won/year (before tax deductions)
(3) Health insurance
(4) Severance pay: one month’s salary for each contract year completed
(5) Free on-campus housing may be available (utilities not included).
