Job Description
- Teaching English as a foreign language to university students, elementary school students, and adults.
- 5 hours a day (50 minute classes), with a total of 25 hours a week
Benefits
- 2.2 million won per month
- Severance pay at the end of the contract
(equivalent to one month's salary)
- 20,000 won/hour for over-time
- Medical and Pension (50/50)
- 10 weeks paid vacation
- Housing : Non shared apartment for foreign instructors on campus. 10 minutes' walk from work

Qualifications
- Native Speaker of English

- Teaching degree( including TESOL, TEFL) preferred
- More than 3 years experiences in teaching preferred

- August 31, 2009 ~ February 28, 2010 (6 months)

Qualifications
Native-English Speaker with a Bachelor's degree(minimum). Preference will be given to:
- Candidates who have majored in English Literature or Linguistics
- Candidates who have certificates in TESOL, TEFL or other related field
- Candidates who have at least three years of ESL teaching experience
Working Conditions
- The current standard academic teaching load per semester is 20 hours per week. (Additional classes could be added)
- Each term runs 15 weeks and classes are scheduled Monday through Friday from 9:00a.m. - 6:00p.m.
- Instructors are responsible for class-related administrative paperwork, required to attend faculty meeting, and required to have three hours of office time per week (one hour /day) for students.
- Assist in the development of curriculum as required.
- Provide classroom instruction and other services associated with instruction.
- If needed, all instructors are required to teach an additional two months (maximum) during either the winter or summer term breaks.
- Other potential teaching opportunities available through the Language Education Center including teaching Business English to company employers, Conversational English to elite high school students, and Language Education Center classes.
Salary and Benefits
- The contract period is for six months, beginning August 31, 2009, ending February 28, 2010. Renewable upon evaluation.
- Salary will be disclosed to selected candidates.
- Overtime - to be determined by the Language Education Center
- Health Insurance & National Pension (50/50 subsidized)
