Your qualifications:
Native speaker.
A three or four-year degree from a recognized English - language university (must be able to produce an original diploma, as well as transcripts for Visa processing), a criminal background check, and. Health screening for HIV/drugs. Experience teaching English in Korea is definitely plus, but not essential with positive attitude and willing to learn. Applicants currently located in Korea are desirable to enable face-to-face interviews, an advantage to both applicant and school..
We offer a six or twelve month contract. Salary range is 2.1 to 2.2 million won per month, depending on qualifications and experience, round-trip airfare paid in the case of a 12 month contract, fully furnished housing available, 50% health insurance, 50% pension, and severance paid upon completion of 12 month contract...all fairly standard. The contract is based on a 30-hour work week, overtime paid at 1.5 times regular rate.

Park's English School is a private language institue that has been operating for 14 years. It is one of the largest and oldest English schools in Jeju City. It is independently owned and run and therefore has none of the problems common to franchised schools or recruiting companies. Our students tend to be among the brightest on the island.
About the island:
Jeju is a beautiful and friendly place where you can enjoy clean air and wonderful scenery. At the center of the island is Halla Mountain, a defunct volcano. The mountain is preserved as Hallasan National park with includes many hiking trails and various other recreational activities and the island is dotted with dozens of gorgeous beaches. Jeju City is big enough to provide all of the conveniences that you are used to, but small enough to make getting away very easy.
