Company Description Full-time English Instructors for University Students
The Hiring Committee at Konkuk University Language Institute (www.kfli.konkuk.ac.kr), one of the most prestigious universities in Seoul, Korea, is looking for qualified full-time lecturers under the following terms:
Direction 1. Starting date of employment: July 1, 2011

2. Position: full-time lecturer for university practical English courses (credit course) with 20 - 25 students and Language Institute conversational classes (non-credit course) with about 15 students.

3. Duties and Responsibilities:
1) Teach minimum of 18 hours a week (Credit course) plus 4 hours a week (Non-Credit course)
2) Develop supplementary teaching materials and test materials
3) Write reports on students¡¯ progress or class evaluation
4) Attend various professional events such as workshops, professional lectures, orientation for new program/curriculum or all other job related meetings

4. Required Qualifications:
* Native speaker of English (USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, England, Scotland, Ireland, and Wales)
* Master¡¯s degree from English (as the first language) spoken countries is required.
* Linguistics, Applied linguistics, or TESOL majors are preferred.
* Needs to have finished health-check, criminal background check(FBI) and apostle degree for the visa issuance. (We will be sponsoring working visa but needs to have all the documents ready to go. If you don¡¯t have the documents ready, at least they should be on process)
* At least two years of full-time teaching experience in Korea, Taiwan, China, Japan, or the Middle East within the last 5 years are preferred.

5. Period of employment: one year contract

6. Salary and benefits: commensurate with career/educational achievements and experiences.
a) Hourly pay will be negotiated based on your educational backgrounds and professional experiences.
