Job Description Many of our students have attended schools in the States and Canada. Our focus is therefore not on teaching English as a second language, but teaching age and grade level appropriate material as taught in the American school system.

We are looking for teaching specialists - preferably with Education, Writing, English Literature, History, Language Arts (including gifted learners) specialties.

Company Description Join an excellent staff and a strong writing program at Jackie's Clinic from June 06, 2011. We have small, intensive class sizes to a maximum of five students, a good reading and writing centered syllabus that is always growing with strong teacher input. We pride ourselves on our student retention. After completing the Jackie's Clinic program, several of our students go on to top private schools in America.
Direction Our teachers live in single apartments, located a 15 minute walking distance from the school, in a pleasant little neighborhood in Sinsa-dong, on the edge of Apgoojung-dong. We are two minutes from many amenities, including a 24 hour grocery store, 7-Elevens, and several Korean and American restaurants. Our school is a 5 minute walk from a full service gym. Each classroom is equipped with a computer with internet access for teachers. Round-trip ticket for US or Canada residents, and severance payment (one month's salary) after one year service applies. Contact teaching hours for the regular program is 30 hours per week, with 5-9 hours a week for marking, staff meeting, prep. During the Summer and Winter Intensive Programs (June to August, and Dec. to Feb.), some teachers will be asked to work up to 40 contact teaching hours a week. Overtime compensation will be provided.
