The Language Education Center at Changwon National University(CNU) is looking for full-time instructors as follows:

1. Position: Full-time instructor at the Language Education Center
2. Numbers to be invited: 00
3. Contract Period: from September 1st, 2011 through August 31st, 2012. (one year)
- The contract can be renewable every one year or two years under mutual agreements after the successful completion of the first year of employment.

4.Employer: President of Changwon National University
>> Qualifications: Native speaker with a 4-year university degree in the English-speaking countries
- Preference will be given to a candidate who has degree in English, Linguistics, TESOL, or Education.
- Master’s degree holder is preferred.
- Applicants with teaching experience in Korea or English-speaking countries are preferred.
>> Salaries & Benefits
¤ýMonthly salary: 2.1 Million KRW and housing allowance: 400,000 won. Accommodation is not provided by University.
¤ýOvertime rate is 30,000 won per hour
¤ýSeverance pay when one-year contract is completed. (The amount will be equivalent approximately to one month full pay.)
¤ýOne-way return airfare will be paid when he/she completes the term of employment and leaves Korea within 10 days from the expiration date
¤ý4 or 5 day work per week
¤ý4 weeks paid vacation per year at the minimum
¤ýNational pension and Health insurance: 50%
¤ýOffice (shared)
>> Duties
¤ýInstructors are required to teach the following hours at the minimum:
-Teaching 16 credit & non-credit class hours and 2 hours of counseling at the English Lounge per week during regular semesters.
-12 class hours of teaching per week during winter and summer vacation.
-Extra hours of teaching can be required during regular semesters and summer/winter vacation period. In this case, overtime will be paid accordingly.
¤ýDuties include teaching General English, English for Specific Purposes, and other classes offered in the University, including special English Camps during summer and winter vacation.
