Dongshin University in Naju, Jeollanamdo has an opening for five English Conversation instructors. The term of contract will be one year (renewable), beginning on March 1st, 2012.
Qualifications
Applicants must be a native English-speaker and be able to begin teaching on March 1st, 2012. Applicants with teaching experience will be highly considered.
Applicants with a Master’s Degree are preferred, however, applicants with a Bachelor’s Degree shall also be considered.
Duties
You are required to teach for 18 hours of class per week.
English classes will be taught to students of Dongshin University, but the teaching of elementary and middle school students will also be required.
Overtime work will be additionally paid.
Salary and Benefits
1. The salary will be 2,100,000 won per month for successful candidates with a Master’s Degree or 2,000,000 won per month for successful candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree.
2. Successful candidates will receive 8 weeks paid vacation a year (4 weeks summer vacation, 4 weeks winter vacation).
3. Housing will be provided, just five minutes walk away from the campus. Utilities, however, will have to be paid for by yourself.
