POSITION: Full-time instructor.
The students are all university freshmen. This is an excellent opportunity for career path teachers to gain university teaching experience, while working in an American university environment.
Contract Term: One Year, from March 2, 2012 to Feb. 28, 2013
SALARY: Maximum total pay package of 41,100,000 won per year, which includes housing allowance and severance pay.
BENEFITS:
National Pension Plan, 50% supported by the university.
National Health Insurance, 50% supported by the university
For applicant hired outside of Korea, round trip airfare is provided. (Must complete the full one-year contract)
TEACHING HOURS:
Monday through Friday, usually 6 hours per day, maximum 30 hours per week.
Working hours range from 9:00 to 5:00 p.m.
OFFICE: Shared office. Every instructor is provided with a desk and computer.
VACATION: 5 days in summer, 10 days in winter.
HOUSING: Key money is provided.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Native English speaker
2. Master¡¯s degree
3. MA in TESOL, Applied Linguistics or Education preferable
4. TESOL or CELTA certificate
5. Two-year teaching experience at the university level
