Andong National University (ANU) will be hosting its Winter English Camp during
January. Selected university students from each department will participate in this two weeks long camp (January 9th – January 20th). The goal of this camp is to provide an English immersion experience for the students as well as to improve their TOEIC and TOEIC Speaking Test scores for their future career.
Teachers and students will live on the ANU campus in a modern dormitory. A teacher will be assigned to use one room by himself/herself and will share common areas, such as laundry facilities, with the students and TAs. Teachers will also eat provided meals in the cafeteria with the students. All classes and activities will take place in the ANU language center, where teachers will have shared office space and computers available.
Andong located in central Gyeongbuk province is considered one of the central focal points in South Korea for culture and tradition. Andong is about 70 minutes from Daegu and 3 hours southeast of Seoul, by express bus.
