The Gwangju Bible College is located in Damyang, Jeollanamdo, South Korea. Which is a suburb located 15 minutes outside of Gwangju City.
We are a private non-profit school that is training missionaries and also has an International Language School (Global Christian Dream School) for students ages 12 to 16 years old. The school is new with a new dormitory that has also just been built this past year. We have a small staff and looking to grow. Teachers and students will live on the GCDS campus in a modern dormitory. A teacher will be assigned to use one room by himself/herself and will share common areas, such as laundry facilities, with the students and TAs. Teachers will also eat provided meals in the cafeteria with the students. All classes and activities will take place in the GCDS campus, where teachers will have shared office space and computers available.
Damyang is a quiet town, but close enough to large city of Gwangju for you to enjoy. There is express train station (approx. 3 hours ride) with direct service to Seoul as well.
Global Christian Dream School (GCDS) currently has a need for a teacher of the English language starting immediately. As a teacher at GCDS, you will have a highly rewarding career developing the English language skills of aspiring Christian students to better prepare them for their future in academia or work.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Native English Speaker (with citizenship of New Zealand, Canada, Australia, Britain, USA or other English speaking countries.)
2. A bachelor’s degree or higher (English/Teaching related major preferred)
3. Minimum 1 year teaching experience
LOCATION:

BASIC CONDITIONS:
1. Monday through Friday (No Weekends)
2. Minimum of 6 months teaching commitment needed
CLASS HOURS:
1. Maximum contract actual teaching hours: 30 hours per week (average 25 hours)
2. Need to attend regular staff meetings
STUDENTS:
1. Middle school and High school Students (maximum class size of 15 students)
SALARY:
1. To be negotiated accordingly with your experience and qualification
