Yonsei ELP English Education Center is looking for full-time instructors to fill up-coming openings for the program. We currently have a faculty of eight native English-speaking teachers. The positions start in the late May (May 25). The full-time instructors selected for the position will be expected to attend a three-day orientation/education course prior to the beginning of classes. Housing and stipend will be provided during that period.
Education/experience requirements:
1. A native speaker of English with B.A. degree or higher
2. English education major or TESOL certificate preferred
3. Preferred at least one year of experience teaching children (K – Grade 9)
Salary/benefits with an annual contract:
1. A salary of 2. 5 - 2. 8 million won per month (depending on teaching experience and qualifications)
2. Housing: A furnished studio-type
3. Round-trip airfare
4. Medical insurance
5. Severance pay
6. Visa fees subsidy
7. Performance bonus
8. Free Korean tuition arranged by the center
Working conditions:
1. Max. 26 teaching hours weekly
2. 1- 9 pm Monday - Friday, no Saturdays and Sundays, and no split shifts
3. Three-week paid vacation in addition to all national holidays
(One week in summer, two weeks in winter)
4. Four-day paid sick leave per contract period ( and a bonus for non-used sick days)
5. Overtime possible (30,000 -35,000 won per hour)
6. Class size – maximum 8-12 students
