Tenure Track University Position (Female) in Kwangju
Assistant Professor in English Language Teaching (Female) at GNUE
The Department of English Education at Gwangju National University of Education (GNUE), South Korea, invites female applications for a tenure-track position in English language teaching (or appropriately related field: TESOL, linguistics, English literature) at the rank of Assistant Professor, to begin September 1, 2012.
Qualifications
- Dctorate degree in ELT or appropriately related field (TESOL, linguistics, English literature).
- Native speaker of English (female only).
- Two years teaching experience.
Responsibilities
- Instruct classes at the undergraduate and graduate level (nine hours per week)
- Other responsibilities include office hours, MA thesis supervision, faculty meetings and other general duties as a regular faculty member
Salary and Benefits
- Salary is commensurate with experience.
- The employment for this tenure track position is secured by the Korean government’s employment policy. The initial length of the employment contract is 3-6 years depending on qualifications and experience.
- National teachers pension and health insurance will be provided.
- On-campus furnished apartment will be provided.
- Round trip airfare will be provided for overseas candidates who are selected for the interview.
