Cyber Hankuk University of Foreign Studies is hiring one foreigner to teach online and offline classes, although the majority of your time will be spent editing English course materials and exams and answering grammatical questions for Korean professors for 12 hours per week. You may not actually teach an online class, as it depends on how many students register for classes, but you will be teaching a Saturday class.
Requirements: Master's degree OR Bachelor's degree + 3 years teaching at the university level
Starting pay for those with a Master's degree is 2.1 for 9 teaching hours (3 classes) per week + 3 days on-site for office hours (usually 1pm-5pm). If there aren't enough online classes available, you will have more editing duties. The maximum you have to work is 3 days during the week (office hours + online class management) + Saturdays (class on campus).
Additional duties, which will be scheduled during your office hours, may include audio and video recordings.
2.1 million for Master's and no experience. If you have university teaching experience, your pay level will increase.
500,000 won monthly housing allowance
Severance, pension, and one-way airfare is provided.
12 weeks vacation (6 weeks in summer; 6 weeks in winter)
