HAS: Hana Academy Seoul

Hana Academy Seoul is looking for a native English-speaking teacher who is living (or planning to live) in Korea. We are looking for not just instructors who only teach classes but staff teachers who are willing to work side by side with Korean teachers to teach, motivate, guide and encourage students.
1. Qualifications: BA, preferably in English linguistics or literature
2. Required Documentation
- Certificates of graduation (if possible, transcripts)
- Resume with the picture attached
- References or phone numbers from former directors (if possible)
- A copy of passport and alien registration card
* Criminal Check Record & Physical Examination including drug and HIV test
You should submit all documents upon application, if you need more time to get all the documents, you can bring all the documents when you have an interview.
3. Working Conditions
Teaching Areas
1) English Conversation and/or Writing
- 20 hours per week starting from August 13th, 2012
- Working hours from 8:00 to 17:00 Mon- Fri
2) AP subjects and other test-prep courses (if possible)
* Additional compensations are provided for after-school classes, and for summer/winter school classes
Admin Work
1) Providing college guidance for students applying for universities abroad (if possible)
2) Editing for School English Newspaper & students' essays & papers
3) Other admin works required
4. Compensation
1) Contract period: From 2012 Aug. 13th ~ 2012 Dec 31st (Negotiable)
2) Payment: 2.5~3.5 million won/month (negotiable based upon the candidates¡¯ qualifications)
3) Health insurance and national pension scheme (50/50)
