Job Description
ICEV is a reliable program run by Incheon City . There are 30-40 other native English speaking teachers who can be your friend and help you adopting the culture of korea easily . ICEV provides 20days paid vacations in comparison to 10-14 days provided by most other institutions. Living expenses 100,000KRW will be provided every month . There is well designated Curriculum you just have to follow when other public school position is designating their own curriculum everyday . CEV is located close to Seoul and it takes about 40-60 minutes to Hongdae, one of the major entertainment and nightlife districts in Seoul.
Eligibility
- A citizen of one of the seven countries: Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, and South Africa
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in one of the seven countries above.
- Clean criminal record
- Mentally and Physically Healthy
Responsibilities
ICEV has Curriculum designed for all classes, camps, and other programs. You must be able to follow ICEV curriculum and conduct classes, camps, and other programs accordingly. ICEV emphasizes learning English through experience and familiarizing with English communication through real-life situation, so and it is very important that teachers have fun and friendly personality if you are teaching young learners or conversation classes. Even the students who do not speak English well should feel comfortable communicating in English.

Dream Planet Program: 12 different Settler classes and a variety of Explorer Classes
- Settler Class: Students experience one job based on vocational aptitude
- Explorer Class: Students explore various classes in an environment simulating foreign countries
- Pioneer Class: Students have fun with various sports and activities
- Traveller Class: Students develop teamwork and social skills
- 2014 Asian Games Supporters: Students prepare to become the next global leaders with 2014 Asian Game Supporters

Working Conditions
Teaching Age Group : 4th – 6th Grade Students
Working Hours : M : 10am-6pm T,W,TH : 9am - 6pm , F : 9am -2pm (Might be some Saturday class)
Vacation : 20days (15days on vacation of the school and 5days for personal )Â + National Holidays
Sick Leave : 5 days

Codes of Conduct
(1)Employee shall not behave in any manner that may damage or tarnish the reputation of the teaching profession. Employee shall comply with and observe the codes of conduct applicable to Incheon English Village’s Employee. Refer to the appendix.
(2)Employee shall not engage in any other job (including part-time work) during the Term of Employment set forth under Article 3 herein.
(3)Employee shall not be involved in any activities which may disrupt the educational activities.
Dress code : the Employee shall be aware of the followings;
a.The Employee shall not wear any T-shirts that have beer ads, inappropriate language, etc.
b.The Employee shall not wear flip flops or beach type shoes.
c.The Employee shall not wear hats in class during the day.

- By taxi - ( 40 minutes to hongdae station )
- By Bus(Frequent) -Â (50-60 minutes to hongdae station)
*Hongdae is where many Foreign teachers get along and Enjoy the Entertainment Such as Clubs , Pub Etc
